    Social Services Specific to Linn County

      Jackson Street Youth Program is accepting youth ages 10 – 17 into their shelters in Corvallis and Albany. Shelters provide basic needs, skills coaching and mental health resources.

      Community Services Consortium provides services regarding essential day-to-day survival, such as food and housing, as well as developing new skills that lead to independence through education, training, and work.       Chance Recovery is a non-profit agency working in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties offering support for those who have experienced, or who are experiencing homelessness and addiction. This organization can help with navigating detox and recovery related social services. 1100 SE Jackson St. Albany has a shelter including family rooms and a warming center. The Corvallis office can assist individuals with filling out job applications, resumes, and applications related to housing and other social services. Chance has a motel voucher program to house homeless individuals and families on a short term basis. Ph: 541.224.7839

      Linn-Benton Housing Authority is the governing organization that provides vouchers for housing to low income families in Linn and Benton Counties. https://l-bha.org/for-applicants/

      Creating Housing Coalition is a non-profit organization that strives to offer permanent housing for Albany’s unhoused citizens. Community members experiencing homelessness or who are at risk for homelessness can visit their website or call for more information.
